Ronald Williams Obituary

Ronald E. Williams, 83, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at UPMC Hanover Hospital, with his loving family by his side.

Born October 27, 1941, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Gladys (Amspacher) Williams.  Ronald was the loving husband of Margaret C. “Carol” (Wattenschaidt) Williams with whom he shared 31 years of marriage. 

Ronald was a member of New Hope Faith Community Church, Hanover, PA.

Ronald was a 1960 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA.  He worked as a route salesman for Lance, Inc. for 34 years, and then Tom Livelsberger Dodge, Apple Dodge Jeep, and then Ciocca Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Hanover, for the past twelve years.

Ronald was a life member of the Hanover Moose Lodge #227, and the BPOE Elks Hanover #763.

Ronald enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, and Texas Hold-Em.  He loved watching the Alabama Crimson Tide and Penn State Nittany Lions football teams, the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, and NASCAR - especially Kurt Busch.

In addition to his loving wife, Carol, Ronald is survived by his children, Mark Williams and wife Lisa, Christopher Williams, Angela Dimitri and husband Chris, and Andrea Spicer and husband Richard; 9 grandchildren, Lauren Jett, Appalachia Sanford, Otis Sanford, Sarah Williams, Rebecca Williams, Eric Davis, Chad Davis, Shawn Spicer, and Stephanie Spicer; and 8 great-grandchildren, Emerson, Branch, Colter, John Bodhi, Eli, Delilah, Alena, and Kayden; and a brother-in-law, Fred Trone.  He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kaison; and a sister, Patricia K. Trone.

A funeral to celebrate and remember Ronald will be held 2:30PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at New Hope Faith Community Church, 33 Sunday Drive, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Nathaniel Hedin-Schmidt officiating.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1:30-2:30PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the church.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald’s name to New Hope Faith Community Church, 33 Sunday Drive, Hanover, PA 17331.
