Ronald Dane Wolff passed away peacefully under hospice care at Willow Valley Communities on July 30, 2026.
Ronald was born to Elvera Katie (Deardorf) Wolff and Theodore Samuel Wolff on May 24, 1934, in Penn Township, York County PA.
He is predeceased by his mother, father, and 4 siblings - Kenneth Wolff, Dean Wolff, Delores (Wolff) Alwine, Geraldine (Wolff) March, and his wife of nearly 70 years, Sylvia Lee (Shanabrook) Wolff.
Ronald is survived by a brother, Bruce Wolff of Lancaster PA, a sister, Andree (Wolff) Weaver of Salisbury, Maryland, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Ron was a graduate of the class of 1952 from Eichelberger High School in Hanover PA. He served in the USNR on active duty for 2 years at Jacksonville Naval Air Station and subsequently spent his entire electronics career at Standard Register in York PA, before retiring to Willow Valley Communities in Lancaster PA.
Ron enjoyed flying and restoring private airplanes, playing golf, gardening, and the special company of Sylvia and his many dogs through the years.
