Rosemary J. Benjamin, 94, of New Oxford, PA, entered God’s eternal care Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Cross Keys Village - Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, PA.
Born December 22, 1930, in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Julia P. (Pietras) Fiore. Rosemary was the loving wife of the late Robert E. “Bob” Benjamin, with whom she shared over 63 years of marriage until his passing on June 12, 2014.
Rosemary was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Abbottstown, PA.
Rosemary worked at Ames in Westminster, and was a member of A.A.R.P, New Oxford, PA.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Gary M. Benjamin of Reading, PA, Gail B. Johnson and husband Brian of East Berlin, PA, Carl M. Benjamin and wife Terrie of Salem, VA and Julie B. d'Aliberti and husband Mark of Wakeman, OH; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanne Benjamin, one great grandchild, Naomi Cranston, and a brother, Alfred N. Fiore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W Canal Road, Abbottstown, PA, with Father Philip Burger as celebrant. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10-11 AM, Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the church. Burial will be at 2:30 PM at Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
