Ruth N. Staub

Ruth N. Staub, 88, of Gettysburg, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, April 10, 2023, at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg, PA.  

Born November 1, 1934, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Nellie (Bechtel) Utz.  Ruth was the loving wife of the late Richard S. Staub who died April 17, 1997.

Ruth was retired from the Sylvania Shoe Company, having worked for over 30 years as a stitcher.

Ruth was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA.

Ruth is survived by her children, Richard S. Staub, Jr. of Gettysburg, PA, Jeffrey C. Staub of York, PA, and Sandy B. Pottorff of Hanover, PA; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel A. Staub and Ricky Staub; and her siblings, Monroe D. Utz, Leroy Utz, Raymond Utz, Kenneth Utz, Richard Utz, and Effie Kimmey.

A graveside service will be held 10 AM, Friday, April 14, 2023, at Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.
