Sandra M. Weaver

Sandra M. Weaver, 75, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Monday, December 25, 2023, at SpiriTrust Utz Terrace.

Born May 10, 1948, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Carmen (Baugher) Berkheimer.  Sandra was the loving wife of Stephen B. Weaver, Jr., with whom she shared fifty-six years of marriage. 

Sandra was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA, the Hanover ELKS Ladies Auxiliary, and a volunteer for the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center.

Sandra graduated from Hanover High School in 1966.  She was the first female Insurance agent in York County working for Prudential Insurance in York, PA, from 1979 to 1991.

Sandra enjoyed playing WORDS with friends, playing cards, and spending time with her family.  She loved animals, especially her dog Lacey Girl.

In addition to her loving husband Stephen, Sandra is survived by her children, Stephen B. Weaver, III and wife Marlies of St. Petersburg, FL, Stacey R. Trone of Hanover, PA, five grandchildren, Morgan Rodriguez, Madison Trone, Bryce Trone, Sophia Weaver, and Stephen B. Weaver, IV, two great grandchildren, Kendall Rodriguez, Kallie Mae Rodriguez, and one brother, Paul Berkheimer of Hanover, PA.  She was preceded in death by one grandson, Aaron T. Trone, and three siblings, Galen Berkheimer, Gary Berkheimer, and Nancy Mummert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Samuel Miller and Father Philip Burger as celebrants.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1 -2 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at the church.
