Sara M. Cullison, 97, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 1, 2025. She was born on December 2, 1927, to the late William H. and Sadie T. (Winterbottom) Hartsock.
Sara was a member of the Hanover First Church of God and formerly the York chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Hanover Community Singers for 20 years, and in her younger years enjoyed bowling. Sara was an avid shopper, having an expansive wardrobe of beautiful matching outfits. Most importantly she adored spending time with her family. She loved her dogs Henry, Thumper and Abbey.
She is survived by her children Michele (Chip) Crumrine, of Spring Grove, PA, Michael Cullison (Changsheng Qiu) of Oberlin, OH; grandchildren Taylor (David) Musselman of Spring Grove, PA; Sarah Kate (Nathaniel) Morris of Florida; Ian Cullison of New Hampshire; and great granddaughters Braden Musselman and Dylan Musselman both of Spring Grove, PA.
Besides her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her husband Earl S. Cullison who passed away on December 31, 1994, and three sisters Betty Christensen, Dorothy Bowers, and Miriam Schlomer.
Friends will be received by the family on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 6 PM until the time of service at 7 PM in the Kenworthy Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331, with Pastor Dan Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
