Shari A. Colehouse

Shari A. Colehouse, 59, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at UPMC Hanover Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born May 30, 1961 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of Vivian (McIlwee) Dutterer and the late Stanley W. Dutterer, Jr.

Shari was a 1979 graduate of Hanover High School and the Hanover School District LPN Nursing Program.  She worked in nursing for many years most recently with Elite Staffing

Shari was a member of Providence Community Church, Spring Grove, PA and the Hanover Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps.  She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, going to the races and was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to her mother, Shari is survived by her daughters, Danielle R. Brown, Leanne R. Excela, Ashley R. Colehouse, Rachel R. Colehouse, Chelsea R. Colehouse, and Hannah R. Colehouse all of Hanover, PA, three grandchildren, Aizik, Haylie, and Leila; and one brother Neal Dutterer of Hanover, PA.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Shari’s life will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Nathan Herndon officiating.  Visitations will be from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 and from 10-11 AM, Wednesday May 26, 2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shari’s name to the Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps, c/o Chip Crumrine, 2243 Sinsheim Road, Spring Grove, PA  17362.
