Sharon D. Fullerton, 68, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born May 10, 1957, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late William A., Sr. and Thelma (Hockensmith) Klein. Sharon was the loving wife of David I. Fullerton with whom she shared 12 years of marriage.
Sharon was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA. She was a life member of the Hanover VFW #2506, and served as a past president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.
Sharon was an avid reader, loved cooking, gardening, canning, and listening to country music. She loved her dogs, watching racing at Lincoln Speedway, family gatherings, and especially spending time with her grandkids.
In addition to her loving husband, David, Sharon is survived by her children, Tracy L. Groft and husband Michael of Glenville, PA, Rebecca J. Barber and husband Eric of Hampstead, MD, Robert E. Buntin and wife Amanda of Papau, New Guinea, and Richard C. Buntin and wife Luisa of Union Bridge, MD; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Hannah, Braden, Owen, Margaret, Gabriel, Annabelle, Beatrix, Ezra, Ephraim, and Anna; and her siblings, William A. Klein, Jr., Joyce Becker, and Karen Flickinger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM, Friday, May 1, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Michael Rothan, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA. Visitations and times to share memories with the family will be held from 6-8PM, Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, and from 10-11AM, Friday, May 1, 2026, at the church.
