Shirley L. Little Obituary

Shirley L. Little Obituary

It is with deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Shirley L. Little, who left us at the age of 81. She was a strong, hardworking, and determined woman whose determination carried her through life. Known for her incredible work ethic, she continued working until the age of 79, always believing in staying busy and giving her all in everything she did.

She took great pride in keeping a beautiful home and especially loved cleaning windows until they sparkled. Her energy and attention to detail with her décor were simply part of who she was. She also enjoyed traveling, relaxing at the beach, shopping, dining and meeting with her high school friend group, Christmas traditions with her work friends, and spending time at family gatherings surrounded by those she loved most.

She had a special love for Disney and Mickey Mouse, which always brought out her fun and lighthearted side.

Her greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved grandson, Mitch, who brought endless happiness and pride to her life.

She will be remembered for her strength, determination, and the many memories shared with family and friends. Her love and presence will be deeply missed but forever carried in our hearts.

Born July 26, 1944, in New Oxford, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Elsie N. (Becker) Good. Shirley was the loving wife of Merle “Skip” W. Little, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Shirley was a 1962 graduate of New Oxford High School and attended York College of Pennsylvania. She retired from ESAB/All-State Welding Products with 33 years of service, and from Walmart with 14 years of service.
