Stanley D. McCraw, 60, of New Oxford, PA, entered God’s eternal care Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born October 15, 1964, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James “Grady” and Lois (Lane) McCraw. Stanley was the loving husband of Sherry M. (Sterner) McCraw with whom he shared forty years of marriage.
Stanley worked for Riley Welding for thirty-seven years, as a welder, fabricator, and designer.
Stanley was a member of the York and Adams Gun Club, the Jefferson Sportsman Club, and the Irishtown Fire Company.
Stanley loved motorcycles, 4-wheelers, guns and target shooting, and especially spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Sherry, Stanley is survived by a daughter, Jessica K. Rill and husband Richard L. Rill, Jr. of Hampstead, MD; one grandson, Luke Rill; and a brother, Scott McCraw of Hanover, PA. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. Bradley McCraw.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Stanley will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with David Keller officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00PM, Monday, March 17, 2025, at the funeral home.
