Stephen A. Noel

Stephen A. Noel, 71, of East Berlin, PA, entered God’s eternal Care on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born March 1, 1953, in McSherrystown, PA, he was the son of the late Bernard and Viola (Pittinger) Noel.  Stephen was the loving husband of Kathy A. (Reese) Noel with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Stephen was a member of Harvest Chapel, Abbottstown, PA , the McSherrystown Fish & Game, and the NRA.

Stephen worked for IWM and the former Hanover Wire Cloth for over 30 years, and after retirement he continued working there as a night watchman part time.

Stephen loved hunting and fishing.  He could start a conversation with anyone about either. He also enjoyed eating out and visiting with family.

Stephen’s authenticity was unmatched and he fiercely loved his family.  You never had to guess what he was thinking, and he was quick to share his point of view.  He was deeply loved and will be missed.

In addition to his wife Kathy, Stephen is survived by his children, Scott Noel of East Berlin, Kendra Noel and Thomas Stanislawzyk of Wakefield, MA, and Stevie Noel and wife Belinda of Spring Grove, PA, three grandsons, Jordan Noel and companion Stephanie “Stevie” Elise of Littlestown, PA, Stephen Noel and companion Destiny King of Hanover, PA, and Joseph Stanislawzyk of Wakefield, MA, and one sister Charlotte Long of Gettysburg, PA, and multiple extended family members.  He was preceded in death by nine siblings.

A service to celebrate and remember Stephen’s life will be held 11 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at The Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with his Pastor, Don Wolabaugh officiating.  A visitation will be held from 9-11 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
