Steven E. Wentz, 68, of New Oxford, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, November 21, 2022, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born September 3, 1954, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Nevin W. and Patricia M. (Martin) Wentz. Steven was the loving husband of Sue A. (Musselman) Wentz with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.
Steven was a life-member of the New Oxford Social and Athletic Club. He was an independent owner/operator truck driver, and also drove for Scrivner Trucking in York, PA.
In addition to his loving wife Sue, Steven is survived by his daughter, Sarah E. (Wentz) Martin and son-in-law, Timothy M. Martin, grandsons, Avery and Easton Martin, all of Frederick, Maryland; his siblings, Nancy Luckabaugh and husband Donny of New Oxford, PA, Doug Wentz and wife Carla of Franklin, PA, and Kim Herman of Greencastle, PA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nevin “Butch” Wentz, Jr and a sister-in-law, Jeannie Wentz.
Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
