Susan Ann Hoover

Susan Ann Hoover, 76, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Sunday, September 10, 2023, at home with her loving family by her side.

Born May 2, 1947, in Hanover, PA, she was daughter of the late William McKinley and Esther Bell (Goodyear) Hoover.  She was the loving wife of Charles B. “Chuck” Frawley, Sr. with whom she shared twenty-four years of marriage until his death August 13, 2017. 

Susan worked as a physical therapy aide at Hanover Hall Nursing Center for over 20 years.

In her free time, Susan loved shopping & going to yard sales, socializing, gardening, taking care of animals, and most of all spending time with her loving family.

Susan is survived by her children, Leah M. Small of Gettysburg, PA, Perry A. Small and wife Heidi of Abbottstown, PA, and Peggy S. Hockensmith-Barndt and her wife Heather of Gettysburg, and five grandchildren, Ashley Small, Blake Small, Dustin Small, Casey Small, and Montana Lewis. She also leaves behind four siblings, Almena Motaka, Richard Hoover, David Hoover, and Naomi Reimold. Susan was preceded in death by siblings, Calvin Hoover, Kenneth Hoover, William Hoover, Jr., Arthur Hoover, Amanda Jane Rahe, and Elenora Toddes.

A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA 17331. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
