Susan P. Steinert

Susan P. Steinert, 65, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side. 

Born November 12, 1958, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of John Stengel and the late Shirley (Graber) Stengel.  Susan was the loving wife of Michael A. Steinert with whom she shared thirty years of marriage.

Susan previously worked at the Holiday Inn and Howard Johnson’s.  She enjoyed bowling and loved giraffes – and was especially fond of April the giraffe.

In addition to her loving husband, Michael, Susan is survived by three children, Nicole N. Moses of Baltimore, MD, Jessica L. Day of Abbottstown, PA, and Michael J. Steinert of Hanover, PA; a granddaughter, Ashley N. Steinert of Abbottstown, PA; a great-granddaughter, Harper E. Hughes of Abbottstown, PA; and a brother, Michael Stengel of WV.

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
