Victoria L. "Vicki" Yohe

After a courageous five-year battle with ovarian cancer that ended on Monday, November 29, 2021, Vicki is now dancing on the streets of gold with Jesus.  She was born December 8, 1963, to Frank and Dirinda (Updegraff) Minnich.  She was the loving wife of Jason Yohe for 31 years.  Her passing leaves a void that will alter the lives of those who loved her.  She will be deeply missed.  She battled long and hard not to leave her family and children, Ashley Hoecke Ort and husband, Travis; Dakota Yohe and wife, Julie; stepson, Joshua Yohe and wife, Rachel; stepdaughter Nicole Yohe Miller and husband, Ryan; and 12 precious grandchildren; sister, Lisa Gentzler and husband, Roy; sister Marci Sutton and husband, Jay; sister Dana Mann and husband Jeff; brother Mark Minnich and wife, Amy.

Vicki loved farm life, actively working with the family’s cattle and poultry operation.  She also had a vital role in the day-to-day activities of Yohe Paving, Inc., which she and her husband owned.  From managing the office duties, to working out on the paving sites, to driving dump truck, she was always involved.  Another one of her adventures was owning and operating Friendly Paws Pet Food Store.  Some of her earlier jobs included cleaning houses, driving school bus, and working at York Bar Bell.  She also served with the Nashville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a member of the South-Central Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s Association.  She enjoyed serving and being a part of the activities at church, including home groups and social events.  After her cancer diagnosis, she volunteered at York Hospital in the coffee shop.  She loved to travel the world, whether it was cruising, flying, or driving.  Marco Island was one of her favorite vacation spots.  She loved her family and tried her best to spoil her grandchildren as much as possible.

Viewing and visitation will be at Providence Community Church at 6146 York Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362, on Friday, December 3, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and Saturday, December 4 from 10:00-11:00 A.M.  Celebration of Life service will also be at Providence Community Church, Saturday, December 4 at 11:00 A.M.  Burial to be at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery, next to the Yohe farm.
