Wayne E. Brittain, 67, of McSherrystown, PA, entered God's eternal care Sunday, January 4, 2026, at UPMC Hanover Hospital, with his loving family by his side.
Born April 18, 1958, in Pasadena, MD, he was the son of the late Charles E., Jr. and Barbara (Zerrlaut) Brittain.
Wayne was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, he was a self-employed carpenter and laid ceramic tile, and worked at the Littlestown Foundry for many years.
Wayne was an avid Miami Dolphin and Baltimore Orioles fan, and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Wayne is survived by his children, Amy L. Sheely of McSherrystown, PA, Jarrett D. Brittain and Dalton M. Brittain both of Littlestown, PA, and W. Eric Brittain of Glenville, PA; four grandchildren, Keegan, Brayden, Dylan, and Tyler; and his siblings, Valerie Joyner, Gail Brittain, Sharon White, and Charles Brittain, III.
Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
