Wayne E. Boyers, 64, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Pappus House, York, PA, with his loving family by his side.
Born June 30, 1961, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Howard C. and Catherine V. (Wagaman) Boyers.
Wayne was a 1980 graduate of Hanover High School, Hanover, PA. He worked for Utz Quality Foods for over 30 years.
Wayne was a veteran and served his country proudly as a BMSN in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Home Association of McSherrystown, the Hanover V.F.W. Post 2506, the Hanover American Legion Post 14, Sons of American Legion, and the Hanover Home Association.
Wayne was very active as a youth baseball coach, softball coach, and basketball coach. He was a devoted sports fan, and loved the New York Yankees, Penn State and Cowboys. He was a devoted father and loved watching his kids play sports growing up. He enjoyed going to local dirt track racing, and loved going to Myrtle Beach with his kids and grandkids.
Wayne is survived by his children, Katelyn E. Brenneman and husband Eric, Justin A. Boyers and wife Tiffany, and Jeremy M. Boyers and wife Hannah; 7 grandchildren, Easton, Bryce,
Eli, Brielle, Archie, Elliot, and Noah; his siblings, Terry L. Wagaman, Barbara Shaffer and husband Gerald, Dolores Zinn and husband Dan, Donald E. Boyers and wife Carolyn, and Brenda Weaver and husband Joe; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Boyers and Tony Boyers.
A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10AM-12PM, Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made in memory of Wayne to the Pappus House, 66 Big Mount Road, Thomasville, PA 17364.
