Wayne O. Winemiller, 85, of York, PA, entered God’s eternal care Monday, February 17, 2025, at York North Nursing and Rehab., York, PA.
Born March 1, 1939, in Glen Rock, PA, he was the son of the late Oscar C. and Erma B. (Lentz) Winemiller. Wayne was the loving husband of Faye (Zepp) Winemiller, with whom he shared forty-eight years of marriage.
Wayne was a 1957 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA. He was a supervisor at National Can for many years, until his retirement.
Wayne was a member of the Hanover Eagles, the Hanover Moose, and the McSherrystown Home Association.
Wayne enjoyed bowling and was a musician, he loved Karaoke, and he played in many bands over his lifetime, including the Sabors, the Silver Tones, Wayne & the Rocking Gentleman, WOW Country, Spectrum 6, and Spectrum 7.
In addition to his loving wife, Faye, Wayne is survived by two stepchildren, Melissa Burns of Hanover, PA, and Tammy Turner of Ellicott City, MD; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Dale Winemiller, Dean Winemiller, and Larry Winemiller. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Miller; a stepson, Kenneth Bloom; and a sister, Lois Snyder.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Wayne will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM, Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York, PA.
