Wesley W. "Wes" Chronister

Wesley W. “Wes” Chronister, 77, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the York Hospital.

Born July 13, 1945, in Albuquerque, NM, he was the son of the late Stewart E. and Elizabeth M. (Shive) Chronister.  Wes was the loving husband of Sandra D. (Feeser) Chronister with who he shared 54 years of marriage.

Wesley was a 1963 graduate of Eichelberger High School.  After Business School he worked as a plant manager and executive trouble shooter for Fry Roofing. 

In 1976 Wes entered the family Business, Buchron Tool & Die.   He later became owner until his retirement in 1998.

As a young man he enjoyed coaching little league baseball, Archery, and competitive shooting.  Wes’s favorite sport was golf.  While a member of the Hanover Country Club he was on the Greens Committee, and helped in the redesign of the Hanover Country Club course.

In addition to his wife Sandra, Wesley is survived by one son, Craig A. Chronister of Hanover, PA, and two grandchildren, Kyle Chronister, and Henry Ecker.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Donaleen Crawford.

The family will have a private celebration of life service to be held at a later date.
