William D. “Pap” “Bill” Noel, 80, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side.
Born February 8, 1940 at home in Adams County, PA, he was the son of the late Harry Albert and Dorothie (Laughman) Noel.
Bill was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.
Bill worked for Brandt Tool and Dye Company, Littlestown, PA, for many years. Later, he worked in maintenance for Berwick Township, where he retired. He was a member of the McSherrystown Fish & Game Association, and a former member of the Green Springs Rod & Gun Club.
Bill’s hobbies included tinkering on cars and race cars, hunting & fishing, feeding deer and birds, raising chickens, and cracking & picking black walnuts. He was a very hard worker.
Bill is survived by his loving family, Mary L. Weaver, her children and grandchildren; and his 6 siblings. He was preceded in death by 7 siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 220 Third Street, Hanover, PA, with Father Michael P. Reid, II as celebrant. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM at the church, masks will be required. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Cemetery.
