Wilma Dean Miller, “Pat or Patsy”, 83, of Hanover, PA, entered Heaven and into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 5, 1940, in Kingsport, TN, Pat was the daughter of the late Joseph and Viola (Moffitt) Hamlett. She was the loving wife of Emanuel Jonas Miller with whom she shared 61 years of marriage until his death April 9, 2021.
Pat attended Susquehannock High School in Glenville, PA. She was a homemaker and loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to so many.
Pat was a member of the Hanover First Church of God and loved serving and blessing others with food in the hospitality ministry.
Pat is survived by two children, Joseph E. Miller & wife Sheri (Houck) Miller, of Hanover, and Sandra D. (Miller) Grimes & husband James, of Fayetteville, PA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Brandon Miller & wife Heather, Samuel Miller, and Hannah (Miller) Blackwell & husband Austin. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Lucille Christian and Dorothy Jessee.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service to remember and honor Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, PA 17331, with her Pastor, Dan Thomas, officiating. Visitation and time to share memories with the family will be 10:00 – 11:00 AM, the service 11:00 – 12:00 PM, and a provided luncheon will follow. A private burial will be in Lischey’s Union Church Cemetery, in Spring Grove, PA. In honor of Pat’s favorite color, we are asking family and friends to wear BLUE to her service.
