Woodrow P. Wagaman, 52, of Old Orchard Beach, ME, and formerly of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, June 7, 2024, in Sioux City, IA.

Born August 19, 1971, in York, PA, he was the son of Janet E. (Miller) Wagaman of Hanover and the late Finian F. Wagaman.

Woodrow was a 1991 graduate of the York County School of Technology. He was a trucker for the past eight years.

Woodrow was a member of the Independent Order of Odd-Fellows, Mount Zion No. 74, and an officer of the IOOF Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, a founding member of Tower City Trail Riders, a leader of Team Mercury at Hanover Middle School, a volunteer with the Hanover Public Library, served with the Robotics Team at Annunciation Catholic Schools, and volunteered with Boy Scout Troop No. 105.

Woodrow loved riding his dirt bike. In connection with motorcross, he participated in many hare scrambles, as rider and marshal. He led the rebuilding of Leroy the Lake Monster for Codorus Blast. He had the mind of a scientist and engineer, and was interested in biofuels, hydroponics, and alternative energy. He loved his community, his country, and his family. His activities are too numerous to print.
