Yolande A. Kirkpatrick

Yolande A. Kirkpatrick, 81, formerly, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle, PA.

Yolande was born March 23, 1942, in Kenitra, Morocco, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Serphine (Guiagio) Antonino.  She was the loving wife of the late Dr. Samuel A. Kirkpatrick, Jr., with whom she shared twenty-two years of marriage until his passing on August 19, 1995

Yolande was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Hanover, PA. 

Yolande enjoyed a career working in real estate at Caldwell Banker in Sarasota, FL, and then as a self-employed caterer at Gourmet Catering by Yolande, and also as a self-employed travel agent and owner of World Elite Travel.   She managed “Dr. Sam’s” medical office the Women’s Clinic of Hanover.

Yolande was a member of the National Realtors Association, and various National Travel Associations.  She was a former member of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and the Hanover Country Club.

Yolande loved cooking, entertaining, traveling, belly dancing, and especially spending time with her friends and family.

Yolande is survived by her daughter, Karena L. Rizzilli and her husband Ray of Camp Hill, PA; and one grandson, Connor J. Foschi.  She was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert F. Andersen.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate and remember Yolande will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 230 Third Street, Hanover, PA, with      Father Michael P. Reid II, as celebrant.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:30-11:00AM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the church.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
