Yvonne M. Beaver

Yvonne (McKay) Beaver, 57, of Weeki Wachee, FL, and formerly of Hanover, PA, entered into her heavenly home Wed., March 4, 2026, at Oak Hill Hospital following an extended illness.

Born November 9, 1968, in Erickson, Manitoba, Canada on the Rolling River Reserve as a member of the First Nation (Ojibwe) to her biological parents the late Helen McKay and Ralph Huntinghawk.  She was the (adopted) daughter of Kathy Beaver-Arenz of Weeki Wachee, FL, and the late Alan R. Beaver, Sr., formerly of Hanover.

In addition to her mother Kathy, and her step-father Russell Arenz II, she is survived by her sons Joshua and Alan Leonard both of McSherrystown; her sisters Joanie Altland of York, PA and Emily Messner of Spring Hill, FL; brothers Alan Beaver, Jr. of Forrest Hill, MD, Kyle Beaver of Thomasville, PA; step-brothers Russell and Daniel Arenz both of Florida, as well as her biological sisters Freda Toews Blythe, GA and Denise Huntinghawk and Janice McKay of Manitoba; her beloved grandchildren – Paris Webb, Peyton Leonard, Alexander Cruz-Wright, Antonio Cruz-Wright, Isaak Cruz-Wright and Isaiah Cruz-Wright as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished.

Yvonne’s native name meant “Bright-Light” which she embodies in her spirituality and her love and acceptance of all people.

Services will be held at Noon, Friday, March 13, 2026, with a visitation from 11AM-Noon at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, Gettysburg (Bonneauville), PA.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Leonard, Alan Leonard, Alan Beaver, Sr., Kyle Beaver, Sean Altland, and Tim Messner, and serving as honorary pallbearers will be Paris Webb and Peyton Leonard.
