Paul M. Krieger, 89, of Abbottstown, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Brethren Home.

Born October 30, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of the late Arno and Hulda (Holzhaeuser) Krieger.  Paul was the loving husband of the late Alice D. (Feltz) Krieger who died November 11, 2006.  

Paul was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, Spring Grove, PA, and was very involved with scouting especially disabled scouts.  He retired from ESAB after 40 years of service as a research engineer.

Mr. Krieger was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served his country proudly during World War II.   He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and metalworking.      

Paul is survived by two sons, Ronald A. Krieger and wife Nadine, Neal P. Krieger and wife Debbie all of East Berlin, PA; 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Krieger, April Bolton, Lori Myers, and Jeremy Krieger; 7 great grandchildren, Dylan, Makensey, Autumn, Jared, Brady, Emma, and Brayden.  He was preceded in death by two brothers William and Robert Krieger.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Paul’s life will be held 11 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with his Pastor Robert Yohe officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  a visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Paul to the Boy Scouts of America, 1325 West Walnut Hill Lane, Irving Texas 75015-2079
