With deepest sympathy I want you to know what a pleasure it was for me to have worked with Stan in the FAA Office of International Aviation in the early 1980s. He was not only a dedicated professional – but a true soldier and gentleman as well. It was also a pleasure watching the video. The choice of “The Wind Beneath My Wings” was most fitting.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. I worked with Stan in the FAA's International service for many years and learned so much from him. May he have eternal peace

My heartfelt condolences to Ingrid, his three sons, two grandchildren and the rest of his family. "Stan" was my first branch manager when I was reassigned to FAA' s Office of International Aviation in September 1981 in Washington,D.C.. He was a man of upstanding character and very fair. As a Brother Mason, we enjoyed weekly lunches at the Aerospace Club (FAA Masonic members) at the Shriner's Almas Temple in Washington D.C.. He invited me to attend the Maryland Masonic Organization's "Bonnie Blink" celebration in Hunt Valley,MD and I always treasured that day. May he rest in peace with the Great Architect of the Universe.
