My condolences to Jane and the family on Burps passing. He was a good and caring man. He is now in the loving hands of our father and at peace. Thank you so much burp for trying to help a clueless girl get through chemistry her Freshman year.

Dear Jane & Family,
My sympathy & prayers in the loss of Warren. I learned so much from him when first elected to office of Register, Recorder, Clerk of Orphans' Court, Jefferson County PA (1992) to present. He was always a phone call away and ready to assist with the right direction in solving the Revenue problem we so often had. My deputy Cathy Mester and I attended a seminar for newly elected officials in spring, 1992 at the Department of Revenue in Harrisburg. Warren was the instructor, we left with a packet of instructions and the recipe for Jane's Coffee Cake which he brought from home to share during break. He was a legend in the Department of Revenue and will long be remembered for his expertise.
Thoughts & prayers, Diane Maihle Kiehl, Jefferson County PA

Jane and Family,

It was with great sadness that I heard of Warren's passing on Wednesday. Blessed are those who meet the Lord face to face and I am sure Warren did. My sympathies to you Jane and to all of his children. He did worship and love you Jane as well as being a proud father to all of his children whom he also loved dearly.

I enjoyed working with and for Warren during my time here at Revenue. Although I may have been able to get more work done without a few of his long staff meetings, it was all done with the intent to make us all better managers and people - which was his way. He wanted us to think and reflect on things and not rush on to the next task. There are few like him left in the business world today and we have now lost a good man who can't pass on his wisdom to others.

I wanted to take this time to make sure you heard from me personally as I will not be able to attend Warren's services on Saturday. I have a prior commitment that day and will be out of town.

May you all find solace in the knowledge that the Lord will now provide comfort and care for Warren. May the Lord hold all of you in his loving arms and provide you peace.

Peace and blessings,
David Braden

As a 12 year classmate of Burp's at Immaculate Conception & Delone he was always a good friend. Fond memories of Burp & John Berkheimer dragging their instruments to my house to "jam". I "tried" to play the organ with them. Lots of fun! RIP Burp. You are in the best of hands beyond your loving family's care.

I'm not sure what to say. A;though I haven't seen Burp in a thousand years, I send my condolences to his wife and family. As a member of the Blues Union (at least for a while), I can definitely say that he gave his all behind the drum set! From the Battle of the Bands at the Hanover Armory to the Frats in Penn State, we had some great times! He really brought the house down. Especially his solo of In A Gadda Da Vida! Rest in Peace my friend.....
